Ways to Give
There are many ways to make your gift. Some have added benefits, depending the type of asset contributed, your age, and the form of gift selected. South Texas College of Law Houston is committed to working each of our supporters to help you to help determine the type of gift that best aligns with your wishes.
GIVE ONLINE. You may make your gift to South Texas Law by using your credit or debit card on our safe and secure online donation form. For added convenience, you may set up automatic and recurring credit card payments. You may also specify how you would like the law school to use your gift (e.g., for our areas of greatest need, scholarships, or specific program or department), and if your gift is made in memory or honor of a colleague or loved one.
GIVE BY MAIL. Make your check payable to "South Texas College of Law Houston" and be sure to include a note specifying how you would like the law school to use your gift. Mail your check to:

GIVE MATCHING GIFTS. You can make an even greater impact with your gift to South Texas Law by taking advantage of your employer’s matching gift program. Through these programs, gifts to the law school can be doubled or even tripled. Ask your employer's Human Resources Department if your company will match your gift and request from them the proper form to submit when making your gift to South Texas Law.
GIVE SECURITIES and receive a tax deduction for the market value of the securities, computed on the day of transfer, while avoiding payment of capital gains on the appreciated value of the stock. If you are contemplating a bequest, the below suggested bequest language is provided for your and your attorney’s review:
Bequest Language: “After fulfilling all other provisions, I give, devise, and bequeath ___% of the remainder of my estate or trust [or $_______, if a specific amount] to South Texas College of Law Houston [Tax ID# 74-1554976], a charitable organization incorporated under the laws of Texas, and presently having offices at 1303 San Jacinto Street, Houston, TX 77002.”
